What is a Web-Portal?

Portal in this context is a web-based platform that combines different information from different sources into a single user interface. Portals are mostly used by those who need to log in, such as student portals, government portals, and even Army portals. Each has personalized access based on their role. A common example is an employee and manager, and each has its personalized access and interface.

GCSS Training?

To be able to use the GCSS, one must undergo a training program and earn a certificate. You can access the training page by going to the GCSS Army website’s training section and clicking on the GTRAC (GCSS-Army Training and Certification) icon at the bottom of the page. Once you access the map site page, you can see many clickable links separated by each category, such as the library, FAQ, and others. Scroll down until you find the LOGSA (AMC’s Logistics Support Activity) group. Click on the service you want, and you need to verify your identity and position by logging in. You can use your CAC, PKI, or AKO account, so make sure you have them ready.
