What is Blackboard?

How to Access Army Blackboard?
To access the Blackboard for the Army domain, you need to be registered in the Army. After you are fully registered, you will receive a CAC (Common Access Card). This piece of care is not just an ordinary card. This physical card is your main item to identify yourself as a personnel US Army and gain access to services with a government-based domain.
Apart from CAC, you will need a government-based computer or devices. As time goes by, you can access it from your home by installing the DoD certificates. After installing, you are most likely able to access almost all Army-government web-based portals and websites.
How to Login to Army Blackboard
The steps explained in the previous section in mandatory for your convenience to access your personalized Blackboard Army domain. Once it is done, here is how to do it:
- Have your CAC and CAC reader ready.
- Plug in your CAC before accessing the Army Blackboard login website.
- Go to https://qm.ellc.learn.army.mil/.
- In the login page/portal, choose to log in using your CAC or any other Army account you have, like AKO or PKI.
- After login, select the “Courses” tab and navigate your way to search the course you want to participate in.
